Privacy Policy

This policy explains the information used to operate Image2.ing, where processing occurs, and the choices available to users. Browser-local utilities and cloud AI generation use different data flows.

Effective date:

Information we process

  • Account information such as email address, sign-in identifiers, profile details, authentication state, credit balance, and account activity.
  • Prompts, selected settings, reference images, uploaded files, task identifiers, generated images or videos, and technical information needed to complete AI tasks.
  • Purchase, subscription, order, product, amount, status, and receipt information. Full payment-card details are handled by the payment processor rather than Image2.ing application code.
  • Device, browser, language, page, referral, interaction, diagnostic, and approximate usage information collected through server logs and Google Analytics.
  • Messages and supporting material sent to the support address.

How information is used

  • Authenticate users, maintain sessions, secure accounts, and provide account history.
  • Upload references, create and monitor AI tasks, deliver outputs, calculate credit cost, and prevent duplicate task submission.
  • Process purchases, deliver credits or subscriptions, maintain receipts, prevent fraud, and resolve billing disputes.
  • Measure reliability and product use, diagnose failures, protect the service, and improve workflows.
  • Respond to support, privacy, safety, copyright, and legal requests.

Uploads and generated media

Reference images used for AI generation are uploaded to the task service so the requested operation can be performed. Prompts, settings, and resulting assets may be associated with a task and account for delivery, history, support, abuse prevention, and service operation.

By contrast, the dedicated image compression and image crop tools process selected files locally in the browser with browser APIs. Those tools do not upload the image for the compression or cropping operation unless the user separately sends it into another cloud workflow.

Service providers and transfers

Image2.ing relies on service providers for authentication, task processing, asset delivery, payments, hosting, security, and analytics. Current service endpoints include auth.starhk.uk, task.starhk.uk, pay.starhk.uk, the payment processor used by the checkout flow, Google Analytics, and infrastructure or storage providers used to deliver the site and media.

These providers may process information in countries other than the user’s country. Processing is limited to what is reasonably required to provide, secure, measure, and support the service, subject to applicable agreements and law.

Cookies and local storage

The service uses cookies or browser storage for authentication, locale selection, return-to-login navigation, user creations stored on the device, preferences, checkout state, and analytics. Blocking required storage may prevent sign-in, account, generation, or payment features from working correctly.

Retention, security, and choices

Information is retained for as long as reasonably necessary to provide the service, maintain account and transaction records, resolve disputes, protect users, meet legal obligations, and enforce agreements. Retention can vary by data type and provider.

Subject to applicable law, users may request access, correction, deletion, restriction, objection, or portability by contacting support@image2.ing. We may verify identity and retain limited records where required for security, fraud prevention, transactions, legal claims, or compliance.

No system can guarantee absolute security. Users should protect sign-in methods, avoid sharing sensitive credentials, and upload only material appropriate for cloud processing.

Children and policy changes

Image2.ing is not directed to children who cannot lawfully consent to online services in their jurisdiction. A parent or guardian should contact us if they believe a child submitted personal information without appropriate authorization.

We may update this policy when the service, providers, or legal requirements change. Material revisions will be identified by a new effective date or an appropriate notice.
